I'm Back!

Hello! Long time, no read! That's my bad for not updating this blog in 462 days. Now I'm back for the second (or maybe third?) time and I'm ready to review again! First though, I'm making some changes!

Since the last time I found myself blogging or writing, a lot has changed. I started eating better, drinking more water, and I got myself a cool new therapist who has helped my mental health and overall life become so much better. I may have only touched briefly on the subject before, but I also grew up in a volatile and dysfunctional household, so part of getting better is moving out. I want to document that huge journey and share about my mental health. Someone else out there is going through something similar. The vloggers and bloggers and incredible humans I grew up watching and reading about inspired me to do better and live my best life, so I hope to pay that forward in a way.
So why am I back? Great question. I love writing and reading (as I've said a million times) and I want to share my life because I feel isolated. Putting it all out there is vulnerable and weird at times, but it makes me feel less alone. So here's some goals I have:
Start a YouTube channel. This would be me talking about books, giving a little apartment tour, learning how to live independently, and maybe making some fashion videos as I explore my taste? Idk man, I just miss Ashley from bestdressed.
Read 2 ARCs a month. I have to/I'm supposed to review all the ARCs I read, so I would ideally start posting about them here!
Weekly REPORTS. For those of you who aren't familiar, there's a trend (which I found from TikTok but may not be a TT thing) where you share what you're up to that week/day/however often you get the urge to share which I think is so fun and cute! It's a great way to quickly and authentically checkin with the people around you!
Reading
Eating
Playing
Obsessing
Recommending
Treating
And that's about it. I just want to be more active and build/find a community that loves books and my interests as much as I do. At the risk of sounding like an extraterrestrial, I know my people are out there. I can't wait to find them.
Until next time,
Mars
