Hello lovelies! Anyone who knows me knows that I have been an off again on again fan of many things, Taylor Swift included. Quarantine and my friends brought me back to Taylor, and my love for the brilliant mastermind that is Ms. Swift is going absolutely nowhere ever again. That being said, I stayed up late to listen to Fearless (Taylor’s Version) so I could share my thoughts with y’all asap!

Fearless: Her voice has matured so much! I was so certain that this album would hit harder now that Taylor and I are both older and I was so right.
Fifteen: Fifteen, but I’m eighteen now and crying over how the meaning of this song has changed for me (and probably Taylor as well).
Love Story: We’ve had the new version of Love Story for a while, but I’m still just as obsessed. The bridge sounds so good and I get butterflies every listen!
Hey Stephen: Taylor saying “angel” makes me blush. The humming is so soothing and I’m so happy she kept it! The laugh sounds so much purer and lighter; it seems like she’s genuinely happier and it makes me hopeful for my own future.
White Horse: I was waiting for this song! It was everything I was hoping for and more. I may or may not have cried my way through it.
You Belong With Me: This song is such a banger that I can almost ignore how poorly the topic has aged. I wonder if Taylor cringed when recording this again?
Breathe (feat. Colbie Caillat): I haven’t listened to this song in forever, but it’s so refreshing! I love Colbie’s backing vocals.
Tell Me Why: Tell Me Why sounded so good! The production quality has increased so much and the country twang makes me incredibly happy.
You’re Not Sorry: Taylor caused me emotional distress with this intro and the bridge made me even more emotional.
The Way I Loved You: The way she mentions him talking with her mom and dad and getting along but wanting more was incredibly relatable. Taylor’s lyrics have always meant so much to me. And the Spotify background for this song was beautiful.
Forever & Always: I think all of us have been in love and been nervous that the person we love doesn’t feel the same way. Also the phone parallel between F&A and The Way I Loved You...
The Best Day: This song makes me think of my dad so much...I know it’s for Taylor’s mom, but my dad is my rock. I get so much from him and we’re so similar. I can’t imagine life without my dad. If I ever got into a recording studio, I would cover this song with male pronouns for my dad.
Change: This song always makes me feel like I can do anything as long as I hold on. I just have to hold on. Everything is gonna be okay.
Jump Then Fall: I love the rhythms of this song, the repetition, and the way her voice has matured! When she says “honey”, I melt.
Untouchable: If a friend hadn’t told me, I would never have known that this is a cover of a rock song! I love it so much. When she says “a million little stars,” I pause and smile.
Forever & Always (Piano Version): Taylor could release the same song a million times and make it sound original each time. This is such a good version! The chorus hurts even more. I like the piano version even more, and one of my cats came to listen with me during this song!
Come In With The Rain: I barely remember this song, but it’s so good, it gives me 00s TV show vibes.
Superstar: It’s so funny that Taylor wrote this for someone else when she’s the superstar now and we all dream about her. I love the key change!
The Other Side Of The Door: This is such a romcom song and I love it! There’s really nothing Tay can’t do.
Today Was A Fairytale: I get so happy listening to “old” Taylor and this song is so bubbly. Even though it repeats over and over, it makes me so happy and nostalgic for my first love :)
You All Over Me (feat. Maren Morris) (From The Vault): This song is so relatable and hurts so much. I’ve heard it takes seven years for your body for completely cycle through cells, but how long does it take to completely get free from someone? Because there are some things that are still so tainted for me.
Mr. Perfectly Fine (From The Vault): I absolutely cannot believe this song was written for 2008 Joe Jonas….but it’s still an absolute bop and I adore it.
We Were Happy (From The Vault): The lyrics of this song are so sad! I was kind of expecting that due to the past tense, but omg I was not prepared. Looking at you, “Back when I deserved it”.
That’s When (feat. Keith Urban) (From The Vault): This song is so much happier! It had me swaying. I love it. And Keith Urban! I love his voice and how they blend together.
Don’t You (From The Vault): Taylor is so incredible and I’m constantly inspired by her. I’m always excited to have new Tay songs!
Bye Bye Baby (From The Vault): Omg this song goes so hard. I relate so hard to losing “everything you thought was on your side” and having to start over. It’s comforting to know that one of my idols has felt the same way.
I loved every second of this album and it made me so happy to listen to it again for the first time.
